I am pleased to announce that our PCS Fall 2009 Bible Study will be: Beth Moore's Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy! If you are joining us in the fall (I'm praying that you will because I so don't want you to miss it!), get ready to hang on for a wild, white knuckled ride! As many of you likely already know, Daniel is the Old Testament companion to Revelation and is absolutely thrilling to study! Following is Lifeway's description of the study:
"Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy by Beth Moore shows how individuals can live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society. Join Beth in a faith-building study of prophecy and learn how to shine for Christ in our modern culture. Just as the prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures—to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats—today's believers face many of the same trials. This 12-session study, falls in two parts and can be used as one or two separate studies. The first portion, from Daniel chapters 1-6, deals with Daniel's life as he faced the kind of pressures and temptations Christians encounter today. Daniel models how to develop enduring integrity in an enticing world. The second portion, chapters 7-12, explores thrilling prophecies from the time of Daniel through the second coming of Christ."
We will meet in the Choir Room at Peoria Christian School (high school campus) on Wednesday afternoons (1pm - 3pm) or Friday mornings (8:50am - 10:50am) beginning on 9/2 and 9/4, respectively. The Bible study fee is $20 (includes Daniel member book). You can sign up at PCS Fall Registration on Thursday, August 13 (11am-7pm) or through a comment post below.
