Current Requests:
Prayers for Annette's mom who had been diagnosed with cancer of the uterus and had a laparoscopic hysterectomy on 9/13. She also deals with other health issues...high blood pressure, high cholesterol and some heart clogging. Praise God that the surgery went well and that to the naked eye it appears the cancer was contained in the uterus.  Please pray for a rapid recovery and confirmation from the pathologist's report that the cancer has not spread.

Bethany Trang: Updated 9/23 - On 9/22, Bethany had her 6-month post surgery follow up. The x-rays show she is healing well.  The bone graft is taking and growing.  Praise God!  She is released from wearing her neck brace and is allowed to participate in some PE activities. Her next visit will be in 9 months. Please continue to pray for Bethany's healing and that she will gain more neck rotation and strength. Prior Update - Bethany had her 3-month check up at the end of June. The X-ray showed that she is healing well and the bone graft looks good. The doctor told Bethany she does not have to wear her hard brace anymore! She will be wearing a soft brace 24/7 till her next visit on Sept 22nd. This brace will allow more movement. The doctor wants to make sure the bone graft has more time to take hold. They do not anticipate her needing physical therapy. She will gain more mobility as she heals. She will be released for more physical activities after the six month check up. Praise God for His mercy! Please continue to pray for Bethany's healing and that she will be able to gain more movement as she heals. Click here for prior updates.

Mary Smith: Mary's "consolidation" or maintenance chemotherapy have been relatively unremarkable. Praise God! Her only symptoms have been some fatigue, muscle aching and nausea. Please continue to pray that all side effects, if any, are mild. Mary's neck pain/arm pain has improved by 80%. Praise God! She underwent epidural steroid injections, and has been taking physical therapy. Mary is back to work at the Prompt Care. Please continue to keep Mary and her family in your prayers.
